Yep! that's right. All major advertisement that you see on websites asking you to run a free virus scan, usually when you download something, are FAKE ADS. You trust them, install them and then these small programs show you that your computer is infected with deadly virus or have thousands of problems on your system even if your have purchased your computer/laptop a day ago. Now the truth is, these kind of softwares are ABSOLUTELY FAKE softwares which means they do not remove any virus or malware. Once you will purchase these softwares, on regular intervals they keep poping-up that they have captured some viruses and have removed them but technically they haven't done anything. They simply show a message, fool you around and are making money.

Its no the Indian call centres that cause problems in the UK. Its English employees of legitimate companies.
ReplyDeleteCarphone Warehouse for instance wont act against employees that have been caught stealing money from people signing up for contracts on their website (i hade 400 pounds stolen, the first time i ever used my english bank card)
As for how the indian call centres got MY details.... My ex employer Chubb Security. They proudly outsourced their call centre to india. Complete with my bank details, address, phone number. Even being careful sometimes doesnt help.
Call Center Training is modifying. It's becoming more innovative as better resources come into the surroundings. It's also become more long-term, extending out beyond the initial seek the services of into the areas of training, refresher programs, guidance, spot e-learning and other enhancements.
